Between September 15–19, 2025, the board members of our student community, Ilgın Şerifoğlu and Ozan Deniz Aguş, participated in the “The Light of the Future: Meeting with Science” project in collaboration with ÜNİDES. As part of the project, they visited Çiğli Yunus Emre Primary School and Karşıyaka Fatma Neşe Kaya Primary School, engaging young students in science-filled activities.

During the program, a variety of experiments and demonstrations were carried out with the aim of introducing science in an inspiring and engaging way. From experiments on light–matter interaction to raising awareness about sustainable energy through a solar-powered toy car, students were exposed to fundamental concepts of physics, optics, and photonics in a language appropriate for their level.

Each student received a personalized booklet, and science-related books were donated to the school libraries to further support their learning journey. The children’s curiosity and enthusiastic questions created an atmosphere of excitement that highlighted the value of early exposure to science.

This project not only inspired young students but also reminded us of the significance of science when transformed into societal benefit.
