Prof. Dr. Salih Çepni, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Uludağ University, Research Assistant H. Azize Malay, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umut Aydemir, Vice Chair of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, visited our Department.

During the visit, potential collaborations and on-site observations were discussed within the scope of the TÜBİTAK-supported project titled “A Journey into the STEM-Based Photonics Literacy and Awareness Module: FoTEM.”

The guests were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Canan Varlıklı, the project advisor, our research assistants Metin Tan and Hakan Bozkurt, and our graduate student Umut Baran Gündüz.

With its focus on enhancing photonics awareness and literacy among teachers and students, we believe this project is set to become one of the pioneering pedagogically grounded efforts in both Türkiye and globally.
