We are proud to share that our undergraduate student Ilgın Şerifoğlu represented the IZTECH Optics and Photonics Society (IZTECH OPS) at the “Optics Around the World” event, organized by the Optics for All (OFA) student chapter at the @University of Arizona!

This global event brought together 38 optics and photonics student communities from around the world to exchange ideas about their activities, research environments, and student experiences.

In her presentation, Ilgın introduced the mission of our student society, their activities, social responsibility projects, and the research opportunities provided by the IZTECH Department of Photonics to an international audience.

We sincerely thank Isabella Aguilera Cuenca and the entire Optics for All team for organizing this valuable global networking event!
