On May 14, 2025, the Advisory Board Meeting of the Department of Photonics was held online. During the meeting, our Department Chair Prof. Dr. Canan Varlıklı delivered a comprehensive presentation summarizing the department’s academic, scientific, and societal activities over the past year, as well as the accomplishments achieved and our future plans and goals.

Our faculty members Assoc. Prof. Sevilay Sevinçli, Assoc. Prof. Oktay Aktaş, Assoc. Prof. Alexey Bogdanov, Dr. Michael Barbier, Metin Tan, Yağız Oyun, and Volkan Bozkuş, along with our department secretary Ahmet Çoban and undergraduate student representative Elifşan Hazar, also attended the meeting and made valuable contributions.
