Our faculty members Prof. Dr. Hasan Şahin and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oktay Aktaş, along with research assistant Kübra Aras, delivered talks at the Condensed Matter Physics (CMP) Meeting held in İzmir on May 9, 2025.

Prof. Dr. Hasan Şahin presented a talk titled “From Simulation to Reality in Nanomaterials: The Power of Theory,”focusing on the role of theoretical modeling in nanomaterials research. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oktay Aktaş shared his work titled “Electrical Alignment in the Paraelectric Phase of Ferroelectrics.” Research assistant Kübra Aras presented her study titled “Design and Optimization of Anti-Reflection Coatings for 4.6 µm Mid-Infrared Quantum Cascade Lasers.”
